BMX: 2015 State Qualifier #2 & Gold Cup Qualifier

I spent the weekend of May 16-17 in Clemmons, NC competing in BMX races. 

On May 16th I participated in the second state qualifier of the 2015 season. I raced in two divisions and placed 1st in one and 3rd overall in the other.  

The following day, May 17th I participated in the Gold Cup qualifier which qualifying you for the Gold Cup finals which is the eastern region finals which will be held in October in Georgia. For this race I competed in two divisions and I got a 1st and 3rd overall as well. The weekend was full of great racing and lots of competition.

Mother's Day Fun Run

On Mother's Day, May 10th, my friends and I volunteered at a race put on by the Indo American Society in Oak Ridge, NC. We were in charge of throwing colors on the runners as it was a color run. While doing so we got to encourage the runners to keep running and also got to offer the runners water. It was a lot of fun and we got to meet a lot of cool people who were running with their moms in honor of Mother's Day. It was definitely worth waking up at the crack of dawn for.
