NC Special Olympics
On November 8th, I had the opportunity to volunteer at the Special Olympics Fall Tournament that was held in High Point, N.C. Although it was a cold day, we had tons of fun volunteering. Some of my fellow NHS members and I volunteered with the soccer individual skills events. We paired off and were responsible for a specific division of athletes. It was awesome not only encourage the athletes, but also be able to see their progress in the events through out the day. It was a day well spent helping a very worthy cause!
