On February 14th, a bunch of my friends and I went to an Indian event. I participated in the fashion show and helped my friends learn dances to Indian songs. Besides participating, we also volunteered by helping set up, helping greet people, and many small other things. It was a wonderful experience to learn more about their culture through the food, clothes, and music at the event. For me, my favorite part was getting to wear the beautiful Indian clothes! I definitely believe that the experience gave me a new understanding on a culture completely different then mine. In the future I hope to participate more in events like these as it was a great opportunity!Here are some more pictures!
