On March 8th, some of my friends and I got together and participated in Holi, an Indian holiday. It is a spring festival celebrated originally by Hindus, and many others now. It is known as the festival of colors as you get lots of colors thrown on you. It was a lot of fun participating and "playing" Holi as they refer to it. After playing for a few hours, we ate lunch, which was a lot of traditional, vegetarian indian dishes. It was a great opportunity as I got to experience their culture and have a lot of fun while doing so. Here are some pictures!
